Overview |
Ms. Arhama Moten is a dedicated academic and finance professional
currently serving as a Lecturer at the Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari Institute of Technology
(KASBIT). She holds an MBA in Accounting & Finance (Equivalent to MPhil) from
Bahria University, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist. With a unique
blend of corporate experience and academic expertise, she brings a
comprehensive understanding of Accounting, Finance, and Islamic Finance,
integrated with a strong foundation in Islamic Studies. Ms. Moten possesses over five years of teaching experience in
HEC-recognized institutions and three years of corporate exposure. Before
joining KASBIT, she served in reputable organizations such as Bahria
University and GulAhmed Textile Mills, where she held roles in finance,
treasury operations, academic coordination, and research assistance. Her
diverse professional experience enables her to bridge theoretical knowledge
with practical application, enriching the learning experience for her
students. At KASBIT, she teaches a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate
courses, including Accounting, Finance, Islamic Finance, and Islamic Studies. She is
actively involved in course design, curriculum enhancement, and institutional development initiatives,
ensuring that programs remain aligned with current academic and industry
standards. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Moten plays an
integral role in the Research Facilitation Unit (RFU), a central body dedicated to promoting and
strengthening the research culture within the university. In this capacity,
she contributes to research coordination, proposal evaluation, and the
facilitation of faculty and student research projects. She also assists in
organizing workshops, seminars, and awareness sessions to build research
competencies and promote scholarly engagement. Her efforts in publication
support, data management, and thesis review processes demonstrate her
commitment to advancing research excellence and academic integrity at KASBIT. Beyond her professional and academic achievements, Ms. Moten possesses a
distinguished background in Madrassa education, having completed a comprehensive
five-year sanad course in Tajweed, Tafseer, Hadith, and Arabic Grammar. She
continues advanced Islamic studies through Darul Uloom Deoband and online
programs under Saudi scholars, enabling her to combine classical Islamic
scholarship with contemporary academic insight. Her core competencies include effective communication, leadership, and
analytical skills, along with proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft
Office. Her research interests include Islamic Finance, Behavioral Finance, and
Financial Decision-Making, reflecting her dedication to advancing ethical and
evidence-based financial research |
