Overview |
Basheer Ullah serves as a Lecturer and Cluster Head in the Department of
Computer Science at the Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari Institute of Technology
(KASBIT), where he has been contributing since 2022. With a strong academic
foundation and a passion for innovative teaching, he plays an active role in
shaping the next generation of computing professionals through both classroom
instruction and applied learning experiences. He earned his Master of Science in Computer Science with a
specialization in Cybersecurity from the Institute of Business Administration
(IBA), Karachi, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS)
from the Institute of Management and Business Studies (IBMS), Peshawar. His
academic background combines deep technical knowledge with an understanding
of emerging trends in security and artificial intelligence, enabling him to
bring both theory and practice into his teaching. At KASBIT, Basheer Ullah teaches a range of advanced courses, including
Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Object-Oriented
Programming, and Machine Learning. He has played a key role in developing
practical lab-based learning modules, ensuring students gain hands-on
experience with technologies such as Kali Linux, Python, TensorFlow, and
Anaconda. As a Cluster Head, he also leads academic coordination, project
supervision, and course alignment with national computing standards. Basheer UllahÂ’s research interests lie in Cybersecurity, Artificial
Intelligence, and Machine Learning, with a particular focus on intelligent
security systems and deep-learning-based threat detection. He has authored
several research papers in reputable journals, including:    1. “Developing Cyber Security Strategies for
Business Organizations to Prevent DataÂ
Breaches” — KASBIT Business Journal (2022)    2. “Leveraging Artificial
Intelligence for Advanced Cloud Security: Techniques and Applications” —
Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management, and Innovation (2024)      3. “Cyber Security Intrusion
Detection Using a Deep Learning Method” — Mehran University Research Journal
of Engineering & Technology (2025), published in an HEC X-Category
recognized journal, marking a significant milestone in his academic career. Beyond his teaching and research, Basheer Ullah frequently collaborates
on institutional initiatives aimed at promoting research culture, digital
transformation, and the integration of AI tools in education. His academic
journey reflects a commitment to excellence, innovation, and social impact. He aspires to continue advancing PakistanÂ’s capacity in AI and
Cybersecurity education, bridging academic knowledge with industry needs, and
mentoring young researchers to become future leaders in technology and
innovation. |
