Overview

Dr. Nadeem A. Syed, over the last two decades, had the privilege of working in a space where academia meets real-world business practice. He started his journey at the University of Santo Tomas, where he completed both his MBA and Doctorate in Business Administration, focusing on Human Resource Management. That experience didn’t just give him degrees — it shaped the way he sees people, organizations, and the importance of leadership.

Teaching has always been close to his heart. He has spent years in classrooms with students from all walks of life — undergraduate learners stepping into the world of business for the first time, and seasoned professionals working toward their next milestone. He has taught subjects ranging from organizational behavior and HRM to strategic management and leadership development.

His goal has always been the same: make it practical, keep it real, and help others grow. Research has also played an important role in his professional path. He has written on topics like corporate governance, job satisfaction, and talent management. Some of his work has been featured in journals and book chapters, including contributions published in the UK by Palgrave Macmillan. But for him, writing isn’t about publishing for the sake of it — it’s about starting conversations and offering solutions.

He has also worked as a consultant and trainer, collaborating with businesses to help solve people-related challenges. From running workshops to advising on HR strategy, He has been trying to bring clear thinking and practical experience into every session. What matters most is that the work makes a difference. At present he is serving as a Professor in the Department of Business Administration at KASBIT, Karachi for the last three years.
