The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) at KASB Institute of Technology, established in 2013, serves as the central platform for advancing research excellence, academic capacity building, and industry-focused knowledge exchange. As the premier research facilitation unit of the institute, ORIC supports faculty, scholars, and students through a broad range of services designed to strengthen research productivity, enhance academic integrity, and foster meaningful collaboration with industry and professional bodies. 

ORIC oversees and promotes a growing portfolio of scholarly and professional activities, including:

Research Publications Support: Assistance in manuscript development, journal
selection, editorial guidance, and dissemination of research.

Workshops & Trainings: Capacity-building programs covering research
methodology, academic writing, statistical tools, publication strategies, and emerging
research trends.

Research Conferences &  Academic Events: Organization of national and
international conferences, symposia, and research forums that connect KASBIT with
the wider scholarly community.

Professional & Academic Collaborations: Establishment of partnerships with
universities, research centres, professional associations, and funding agencies to
promote multidisciplinary and applied research initiatives.

Industry Linkages &  Applied Research: Engagements with corporate leaders,
public-sector institutions, and NGOs to encourage industry-driven research,
consultancy projects, and knowledge-transfer activities.

Research Integrity & Anti-Plagiarism Compliance: Implementation of HEC-
compliant plagiarism detection systems, faculty/student training on research ethics,
and enforcement of academic integrity policies.
