Overview

Dr. Massan holds a PhD in Computer Science (Optimization) from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institue of Science and Technology and a Postdoctorate from the faculty of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering (Optimization) from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology. He has a Cumulative Impact Factor greater than 22 and a h-index of 7 with 300+ citations from his 20+ publications, primarily in the HEC “W” and “X” category.

He successfully completed the Sindh HEC research grant of about 3 Million Rupees and added value to his organization and MUET. His areas of research interests are Metaheuristic Algorithms, Optimization Techniques, Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Energy and Computer Applications. He holds the rank of IEEE Senior Member and is an eloquent member of the Power Engineering Society and the Computer Society of the IEEE Karachi Chapter. Besides Academia, he has played an active role in Multi-Megawatt Solar Energy, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Projects and is currently the CEO of Massan Engineering Company, a Solar Consulting and Engineering Firm.
